Happy Monday Pirates! Today is the deadline for fundraisers.
*Student Council Packets are available now. Students in 5th/6th Grade can get one from Ms. Jamie’s box, room 161. 7th/8th can get theirs from Ms. Jen’s box, room 262 or on the stage. Students must complete the applications and turn them in by Thursday, September 1st. We will have class representatives for ALL grade levels, but 7th and 8th grade students ONLY can run for an officer position. 5th and 6th grade students DO NOT turn in teacher evals, ONLY 7th and 8th students. Campaigning (making posters) for ALL positions will be held September 6-8. Students can put their posters on Friday, September 2nd in the gym and in the hallways. NO candy, stickers or other trinkets will be allowed. Elections will take place on Friday, September 9th. Students running for an officer position ONLY will deliver a speech no longer than 2 minutes on morning announcements and voting will take place in homeroom classes via Google Form. Winners will be announced the following week.
