Today we wear red, white, and blue to remember those whose lives were lost, honor the heroes who responded, and recognize the unity and strength that brought us together. Wearing a patriotic shirt is free to all students. Jeans and joggers are $1 as our usual Friday fundraiser. (Patriotic shirts are shirts that are red or white or blue or have a combination of the before listed colors) If you are unsure if your shirt is appropriate, you can always pack a spare uniform shirt in your book sack so that you can change if it is not considered school appropriate.

But we didn’t stop there! 🔎 Students then switched desks to read their peers’ responses and had to decide whether they agreed or disagreed with their answers and evidence—AND provide evidence to support their thinking! 👏🏼
