AJ and his heifer Southern Daisy won Grand Champion Santa Gertrudis Heifer & Grand Champion Louisiana Bred at the 4-H Acadiana District Livestock Show.
AJ also placed 4th in the senior division, modified trap for the Vermilion Parish 4-H shooting sports match this past weekend.

Rene Rost Middle School Student Council represented at the LASC Convention this weekend in Sulphur LA. Gunner Bell, Drayke Broussard and Landon Hargrave placed 3rd and took home a trophy for their Lights in Leadership poster. Kloe Meaux represented the school in the essay contest, Conner Clark in the current events contest, Landon Hargrave in the oratory contest, Meredith Fontenot in the photography contest and Brin Badeaux, Meredith Fontenot, and Gracie Guidry in the lamp shade contest. All of the students worked incredible hard to make our school proud. The experience was one that will contribute to remarkable memories that the students will be have to remember for a lifetime.
