Today was our Lache Pas Cajun Music Mardi Gras Assembly. 💜💛💚 Students were treated to some Mardi Gras Cajun Music and learned about Cajun Mardi Gras traditions.











February is Dental Health Month! Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Hannah Noto taught CPE’s Kindergarteners all about dental hygiene, demonstrating the correct way to brush and floss! To their surprise, they even had a visit from the Tooth Fairy!

Mrs. Carolyn’s 2nd Graders just finished learning about the Westward Expansion. From learning about Covered Wagons to The Trail of Tears and The Iron Horse students were able to create paper quilts to culminate these lessons!

Students in Mrs. Andrea’s second grade class have been studying about the Westward Expansion. For the culminating event, each student completed a Westward Expansion quilt. Each piece of their quilt depicts a different story from our unit of study. Students worked very hard and are super proud of their work.






First grade had a fun Valentine’s Day Celebration! They had a blast doing science experiments, playing math Jeopardy, sorting and graphing candy hearts, and creating an art project. They ended the day enjoying a Valentines Party complete with sweet treats!❤️❤️

Several of Mrs. Jennifer’s ELA students rang the bell for the 20 point club and 40 point club!!! Way to go Patriots! * Mrs. Jennifer actually videos the students ringing the bell as the class cheers and claps for the accomplishment. Hence the variety of expressions caught on screen! ❤️❤️






Students in Mrs. Lexi's class became geologists today. They observed and gathered evidence on the Erosion Models. They are investigating the effects of erosion!

CPE had a special guest visitor today! Brandi Schonberg, published author and best friend to 4th grade teacher Mrs. Jennifer, came to talk to all 4th grades and Ms. Tori’s 3rd grade ELA classes about becoming a writer and following your passion to create stories! She answered all the many questions about reading and writing. She definitely renewed the love of books for many of our students!📚♥️💙📚
